2010 Bead Challenge, a NH Bead Bop Event
Please join us for our second annual Spring Bead Challenge! All levels, all categories, all ages* are welcome. If you’ve just started beading, submit a beginner piece. PRIZES!!!
We will offer First Place and Honorable Mention in all levels and categories. Each entry will be judged by an expert in that category and a bead shop owner.
7 CATEGORIES: Stringing, Bead-Weaving Jewelry, Wire/Metalworking/Earrings, Polymer and Silver Metal Clay, Multimedia Jewelry, Non-Jewelry Items (all media), and *Children/Youth (through age 16)(all media). At least 80% of your item must fit your chosen category.
3 LEVELS: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Based on your skill level, design, creativity, and quality ~ not on how long you’ve been beading. You decide!
HOW TO ENTER: Purchase your entry form beginning January 16, 2010 - $10 per entry (non-refundable).
DEADLINE: All entries must be submitted no later than May 1, 2010. Each entry must be accompanied by a separate entry form.
PRIZES: First Place winners will receive gift certificates to all participating shops.
EXHIBIT: First Place winners will be on exhibit (location to be determined) for the month of June 2010.
Challenge Rules:
1. $10.00 fee for each entry. You can enter more than one category and level.
2. Must be original art, designed and created by the entrant. Designs from books, magazines, etc. will be eliminated.
3. Entry can not have been entered in other contests prior to this contest.
4. Must meet challenge deadlines - no exceptions.
5. Contest is open to all except category judges.
6. All entries must include the name of your piece and a description, as defined on the entry form.
7. Work must be created by and only by entrant.
8. First place winners agree to have their work exhibited at each or any of the 10 shops.
